Come on just smile - we will defile
Served on a slab - soaked in denial
This great delusion across your face
The fate you hate is what you make
Come on and pray
That he will stay
Your pariah baby
Just for today
CHORUS:
Oh just shut up behave
Easy to be a good slave
Better seen and not heard
I won't utter one word
Don't you like what you see
Become my tragedy
Are you not having fun?
Guess I'm the only one
I see the white lines
Behind those eyes
Selling words to me
As a disguise
In the pleasure
Of fascination
All we have done
Is a simple crime
A corruption a twist of fate
You twist the knife into my spine
Your sordid dream my caustic mind
Yearning still to find my thrill
CHORUS
You are what you create
I am what you infect
In fact I'm nothing less
Once more now let's confess

A brilliant band blending elements of industrial, metal and electronic music, with pounding drum beats, distorted synths and raw, powerful vocals. Intense.

Dark electronic music gets warped and clobbered on the latest from Author & Punisher. Brooding, cutting, and claustrophobic. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 18, 2017

I was pleasantly-surprised by this album. I was expecting something colder, slower, and ambient from what little I first heard before I bought it. Instead, it's not too unlike the later Mechanical Soul. There's elements of old and new FLA here, and there's parts of this that I rather like. I wouldn't mind more collab songs, for one, or for more flirting with other genres. Give me both vaporwave-y songs AND hardcore industrial dance. Rocket Verliden
